When your single fins can use just a little extra help for some added stability, projection, or hold then this template is a great option to fill the gap. This even stubbier and smaller template than it's 3.0" big brother version - has a fair amount of base width compared to the overall proportions, which will give just that little bite of extra drive and adequate surface are to effect a change, but it won't be overwhelming.
