Side Bite / Trailers

These side bites were designed to optimize the performance of your single fin on a 2+1 surfboard in conditions where the added stability & directional flow are desired. They’ll add additional control, counterbalance, and drive to your board. We liked the template so much we opted to make some prototype trailers as well. They went gangbusters so we decided to add them as part of our permanent trailer selection. They pair well with quad fronts where smaller trailers are wanted to offer a looser feel. For the futures bases you’ll want to select the 1/2” if wanting to use these as trailers. Base : 3.33" Height : 3.30" Area : 8.39 in ² Rake : 32.5° Foil : Flat Material: G10 Base : 3.74" Height : 3.70" Area : 10.54 in ² Rake : 32.5 ° Foil : Flat Material: G10 Cant angle on Futures bases : 4 ° NOTE: Most 2 + 1 setups with Futures side bite boxes use the 3/4" base but some use 1/2". Best to check and be sure before ordering. All trailer boxes will use 1/2” bases.
