About this fin
Todd Pinder, of Todd Pinder Surfboards, brings decades of experience to his craft and understands the crucial role that fins play in both board performance and the surfer's experience. True Ames was excited to collaborate with Todd to bring some of his time-tested fin templates to the lineup. The Pinder Standard 9.5" longboard single fin features a more upright design, but unlike other pivot fins, the overall fin area has been reduced. This design aims for traditional longboard surfing and stability on the nose, while still allowing for hard turns and sensitivity in critical sections.
