About this fin
The RAF Twin/Keel, designed by Tim Crozier of Blackbird Surfboards A mashup of upright twin and more classic raked keel designs. The long base of a keel fin provides drive and the relatively refined top portion of the fin allows surfers more seamless, fluid maneuvering. "The curves featured in this fin template were inspired by the legendary Supermarine Spitfire, the defining aircraft of the Royal Air-force during WWII. T he design theory is simple really; curves work better on craft traveling at slower speeds.
