About this fin
The EA Control Series thruster is a collaboration with legendary Hawaiian shaper Eric Arakawa, featuring a rake template with slightly smaller center fin. The solid Fiberglass construction is designed for stability in powerful waves. Available in medium and large sizes. "I designed the new Arakawa Control Series fins for enhanced speed and hold through turns, with a vision of a thruster design that would push the envelope of committed rail surfing. These fins allow the surfer to load energy in the tip of the fins leveraging power through maneuvers. The shape of the center fin differs from the sides to articulate more through turns. This complimentary front and center fin combo creates exceptional hold in the apex of the turn with enhanced exit speed.
